AACSC POSTERS SEEN AROUND THE WORLD
Help the AAC achieve world dominance. Have you put up an AAC poster anywhere? If so, send us a digital photo of the poster (and its surroundings) along with the address of its location and we'll post the photo here on the AAC web site.
An AAC sign high up in American airspace – actually (so to say) the highest sign we've ever had! On an Austrian Airlines plane from New York to Vienna, taking Anita (thanks for the lovely photos and the AAC enthusiasm!) back home to Austria at the end of May 2007.
An AAC sign at Savannah, Georgia! . The Photo was taken Anita, who currently spends a year in the US! Thanks for the contribution, Anita! We're looking forward to your coming back! P.S. I would buy you an alcoholic beverage, but you're just too far away!
An AAC sign at Swanswea, Wales .The Photo was taken by former vice-president Bob (which is missed here!!) at his new work-place! Thanks for the contribution, Bob! We wish you and Nina all the best!
An AAC sign at The University of Florida Gainsville, Florida. This photo is from the Students' Center at the university. Note the AAC Poster just to the right of Bob's head. Bob looked everywhere in the student union building for a proper place to hang flyers but found none. In fact, flyers were highly controlled and discouraged at UF in the student center. (Photo taken Sunday, April 9, 2006.)
Note: In no way does the AACSC promote tha posting of AACSC posters or flyers in any forbidden areas. Actions taken by individual AACSC participants are the sole responsibilty of those participants and not the AAC.
Another AAC sign at The University of Florida Gainsville, Florida. This time the sign has been printed in green and slipped inside a weather-proof plastic sleeve. Note how good the AAC poster looks compared to all of the other flyers. (Photo taken Sunday, April 9, 2006.)
This photo is just here to "prove" that Bob was in fact at the University of Florida, Gainesville, supporting the authenticity of the above two photos. (Photo taken Sunday, April 9, 2006.)
An AAC sign at the ORF Zentrum Steiermark Graz, Austria. The Photo was taken on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, on the Sonnenterrasse of the ORF Zentrum in Graz, St. Peter. From now on, there is a poster hanging in the ORF Zentrum (thanks to documentalist Hedi), and all the important people who are interviewed in the ORF can see it, and might come join us ;) Now, president Bob can go and buy Hedi a beer.
An AAC sign at Kent State University Kent, Ohio. Note the AAC Poster just above Bob's head. This photo wins the contest for the AAC poster that's been hung the furthest away from Graz. Also note that this is most likely the only time you'll ever see Bob wearing a tie. (Photo taken Tuesday, February 28, 2006. That's referred to as "Fat Tuesday" in Kent.)
This photo is just to "prove" that Bob was actually at Kent State University and that the previous photo is real. (Photo taken Tuesday, February 28, 2006.)
An AAC sign in London, England ! Chris Stoeckl and Co. in front of the Tower of London! Smile Chris! (But don't forget: the goal is to actually hang the poster on a wall.) This photo wins the contest for the most surreal picture. It's rare to have a dark foreground contrasted with a bright background. (Photo taken December, 2005)
At a jaws party in Graz. (in the Café Global of the Afro-Asian Institute) What the hell is Bob doing? Note AAC poster on wall. (Photo taken December, 2005)
An AAC sign in Limerick, Ireland ! Amazing. Thanks Rhys and Debs! Now Vice-President Bob owes you a beer. Note important Irish gentleman in background. (Photo taken May, 2005)
An AAC membership drive sign at the Studenten Wohnheim right near where bob lives: in GheganGasse, Graz. Special craftsmanship has been used here. In fact there are two AAC signs inside a plastic sleeve and the plastic sleeve has been fastened to the glass. As a result, readers can view the sign from both directions (from inside and outside) and the paper should durate longer since it is protected. (Photo taken November, 2004)
An AAC sign at the FH Joanneum on Alte Post Strasse, Graz! Man does that look good. Bob, you can go buy yourself a beer now. (Photo taken November, 2004)
