AACSC Publicity

About our public appearances
The AACSC does indeed have great members and thoroughly appreciates each and every one of them. Dearest to us are those, of course, who attend the weekly Stammtisch, have a beer and chat the night away. However we are also happy to have such a great number of people who have joined our mailing list (153 in Nov. 06), as it's this large number of people who make it a useful tool for communication and information exchange.
Still, we are always eager to gain more members in order to keep the Students Club growing and to make the Stammtisches and other events more exciting and diversified every time again! The best way to accomplish this goal – and world governance in the long run ;) – is to promote the AACSC as often and as effectively as possible. One way to do so is, of course, to distribute the AACSC business cards (which you can download here) and to put up AACSC posters in Graz (download here) and everywhere else in the world (check out this link for more info!). This is the contribution every member can make.
Sometimes we also get the chance to make a real public appearance, if you want to call it that, with the help of others! A million thanks to everyone who has been involved!
Check out the information below for more details!

Article in jaws
November 2006
In the 12th issue of jaws (journalists, artists, writers, students), the student magazine at the English/American Departments of Graz university, an article about the AACSC appeared which was written by Chris and Hedi (as nobody else volunteered ;).
You can download a PDF with the article here. Thanks, Max!

Article in the Megaphon
November 2006
The Graz street magazine 'Megaphon' published a neat article about us in issue 134 (November 2006). Thanks to the Bundeskanzler who scanned it you can download and read it here.

Article in the StrvAA/jaws brochure at Graz university
October 2006
The student representatives for English & American Studies at the Karl-Franzens university (StrvAA) together with the jaws team published a great folder at the beginning of winter term 2006 in order to give new students an overview of what is important and necessary when studying English. It's self-evident the AACSC has to make an appearance in that folder ;)
You can take a look at it here! Thanks, Max!

Hopefully there's more to come! We'll keep you up to date!
