The AAC is not the world’s easiest thing to define. It’s a group of people with a common interest: the English language. Other than that, it’s all about diversity and learning about other cultures.
People at the Stammtisch are typically Austrian students, expatriates working in Graz, foreign students here for a semester or longer, and of course their friends. (It’s best to visit the Stammtisch three or four times in order to really getting to know people, as the group is always different… just one visit is often not enough to get an idea of what it’s all about). Stay in touch via our mailing list, Twitter @Anglo_Austrian, or even better Facebook:
allerDings, Kud Kiks + an empty clothing store
= an improv show galore
where Austria and Slovenia comes together
at Schmiede 36, no matter the weather!!!
No script, no plot but new stories and characters
and maybe even some scenes spoken in verse.
So come along and see what we do
when we get the input for our stories from you!
Anglo-Austrian Circle added an event.
Finally we have chosen the hike up to Mugel and Rosseck. We will drive off on Geidorfplatz, begin of Körblergasse at 9.30 a.m.
Bring: shoes for hiking, a medium condition - and the spirit to hike a way up to the borderline of snow in Styria (We stay in the dry area).
For the trip we'll share cars (~60min). Please let us know if you want a seat in a car or you can offer one or more seats for others! (Either post it or call Gernot: 0650/38-110-55) We will drive via Bruck an der Mur. (We will share gas money anyway!)
The hike altogether contains a walking time of 3 hours 40 minutes. We take it easy and make it an enjoyable walk!
The hike will follow the tradition of the AAC-hikes up to Eisenerzer Reichenstein, to Buchbergkogel and to Hohe Veitsch!
We will have a glorious view, if the weather allows it.
We will be back in Graz between 5.30 and 6 o'clock p.m..
